Rice Pongal
REQUIRED ITEMS:
Rice ------- 1/2 cup
Moong dal ------- 1/2 cup
Ghee ------- 1/2 cup
Cashew nuts ------- 1/2 cup
Green chillies ------- 3 or 4
Jeera ------- 2 spoons
Pepper seeds ------- 5 or 6
Water ------- 4 cups
PROCEDURE:
- Take a container and heat it for 2 sec.
- Add water in it.
- Add rice and moong dal also.
- Mix well.
- Cook rice for 20 min.
- Add required salt to it.
- Mix well.
- After cooking rice, keep aside and make the stove off.
- Take a pan and heat it for 2 sec.
- Add ghee in it.
- Heat the ghee for 2 sec.
- Add green chillies, pepper seeds, jeera and cashew nuts in it.
- Fry till nuts comes to golden colour.
- After frying, add to the rice.
- Mix well.
- Now you are ready with rice pongal.
- Eat and enjoy the delicious rice pongal.
- It is very tasty food.
